Communications Specialist

Steve Schlenk, a native of Carmel, graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations & Rhetorical Advocacy. As a student, he performed with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club, serving as manager during his senior year. He has been the recipient of the Albert P. Stewart Prize for demonstrating "outstanding leadership," the Etheridge Baugh Award given to the graduating senior with the highest grade point average as a part of the Glee Club, and the Senior Award, among other honors.

Outside of PMO, Steve was active with Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, Public Relations Student Society of America, and served as student director of the Emily Mauzy Vogel Leadership Development Conference. In 2006, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and honored by Purdue's College of Liberal Arts as a Distinguished Senior in Communications.

As communications specialist, his focus is on public relations, advertising, and special projects. Having been a part of the Purdue Varsity Glee Club since his first day as a Boilermaker, Steve is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue his experience at PMO as a part of the staff.
