Jeff Vallier

Jeffrey A. Vallier is a graduate of Waukesha South High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He majored in cello and voice and was a four-year member of the Concert Choir under the direction of the legendary Robert Fountain. In 1999, he earned his Masters Degree in Choral Conducting at Western Michigan University with Dr. Craig S. Arnold.

Jeffrey served as Department Chair and Director of Vocal Music at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, Michigan from 1989-2001. While there, he raised the bar on choral music and helped bring national recognition to the school’s show choir, “The Spartanaires.”

From 2001-2008, he directed the advanced women’s choir, “The Expressions” and the advanced mixed choir, “The Varsity Singers” at Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Indiana. The Expressions and The Varsity Singers were repeatedly named Grand Champions in regional competitions. The Varsity Singers consistently placed second or third annually at the ISSMA State Finals as well as performing at IMEA and ACDA state and divisional conventions.

He has performed and directed in Carnegie Hall, as well as in Germany, France, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Italy. Jeffrey is a frequent adjudicator, clinician and arranger for vocal ensembles throughout the United States.

He is passionate about people, music, love and life. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Sarah, and an active father for his three children, Adin, Riley and Julia.
